This is Corman famous five-day wonder with Boris Karloff doing his usual thing. Jack Nicholson, an officer in Napoleon's army, has become separated from his regiment and gets caught up in a goulish doings at the old Castle Von Leppe. A beautiful girl walks through the night mist; witch craft and a thirst for revenge drives Baron Von Leppe closer to madness; a horrible secret is revelled as flood waters brings things to a watery conclusion.
