Janet Gaynor, Fredric March, Ursula Kent, Adolphe Menjou, Andy Devine, May Robson, directed by William Wellman.
A matinee idol turns to the bottle in response to his wife's heightened popularity in this classic script by Dorothy Parker. This is one of the very early films made in Technicolor using only three colors. It was still in the experimental stages and not to be compared with the technique that was ultimately developed, but film history buffs will enjoy it for the breakthrough in the state of art.
