Synopsis
|
|
Shirley Temple is a little girl left by her father at a boarding school when her father's regiment is sent to South Africa to fight in the Boer War after having just returned from India. At first she is treated as if she is a little princess but when to money runs out and there is no news from her father, her fortune turns and life become a drudge by having to earn her keep by doing all the hard jobs at the school. Rich or poor Shirley is always cheerful and always a princess at heart.
